It will depends in your eyes, and the video you are watching. You always can change the size of the VLC window in any way to get better 3D feeling. Put on your Oculus and slowly make the VLC window bigger or smaller till you get the perfect 3D clear view. Now you want to make the VLC window bigger up and down in your pc screen, but in the way that looking thru your Oculus Rift feels confortable into a nice 3D experience.
